Artistic application materials can be submitted at anytime prior to auditioning. All auditions must be completed by March 1, and can take one of three forms.
Individual audition: Individual auditions in San Francisco or San Rafael are strongly encouraged and entail visiting our program while it is in session to take a ballet class with current BFA students. Please note that we do not offer classes on the weekends.
National Open Audition: If an individual audition is not possible, applicants are invited to attend one of our national auditions. National audition dates are available here.
Video audition: International applicants and others who are unable to attend an audition in person may submit a video audition that is no more than 10 minutes in length and includes the following:
Please visit our online portal hosted by Acceptd to submit your artistic application materials. When submitting your materials, you will be asked to indicate your intended form of audition: individual audition, national open audition, or video audition.
If you are scheduling an individual audition or attending one of the national open auditions, please note that you must submit your artistic application materials through the online portal prior to your audition.
